Riverland Education Adventure Center
ALONG THE MERRIMACK RIVER IN CANTERBURY, NH

The Riverland Education Adventure Center was founded in 1989 with a generous donation of land, by Don and Lois Booth. Ropes course elements and a small lodge were constructed over several years by teen and adult volunteers. Programs are rooted in the belief that all youth are creative and valuable members of our classrooms, schools and communities. Youth are fully engaged and recognized for their important contributions. Activities develop a sense of community, individual leadership, cooperation and compassion within each group.
